- 4 Bramley apples
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- Peel the apples and cut into evenly sized pieces.
- Bring the water and sugar to boil in a pan.
- Add the apples then cover and cook on a high heat for about 2 minutes until soft but still retaining a “chunky” texture. Stir occasionally to prevent the apples burning.
- Drain in a colander.
