- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 long strand of lemon rind
- 60ml dark rum
- Hot water, to top up the glass
- Small pinch ground cloves
- Small knob butter
- Tie the lemon rind around the cinnamon stick. Place into a heatproof glass and add the rum.
- Pour in the hot water, add the ground cloves and top with the knob of butter, allowing it to melt on the surface before stirring in. Serve immediately.
