- 1 litre dry cider
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 cloves
- 2 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 tbsp dark rum
- Cinnamon sticks and star anise to decorate, optional
- Place all the ingredients into a pan and heat gently until the sugar dissolves.
- Serve in mugs or heat-proof glasses with a cinnamon stick and star anise to decorate.
